It would be very nice for me if I could forget many things. Unfortunately, I have a memory that has a very tenacious grasp on even the most unpleasant events of my life. This has probably contributed to periods in my past during which I felt very depressed. I have known some very happy people who seem to be able to selectively forget all the bad things that ever happened to them. Sometimes, I wish that I could be more like them!
